Mobile phone users in India can now purchase a new Android-based smartphone from Taiwanese handset vendor HTC, namely the HTC Desire 600 Dual SIM, which is available in the country with a price tag of Rs. 26,860 ($446 / €345) attached to it. Unveiled in May, the handset lands on shelves with a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) screen, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor inside, and 1GB of RAM. LG Optimus G2 to Sport 3GB of RAM, LTE-Advanced

South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics has already confirmed plans to launch a successor for its Optimus G flagship and, although it did not offer details on the device as of now, the handset is expected to be the first in the world to sport 3GB of RAM inside. According to the latest reports on the matter, the mobile phone will hits helves with support for LTE-Advanced connectivity, although it will be usable only in South Korea, where the technology has already been deployed by SK Telecom. We’re only halfway through 2013, and a nice range of high-end smartphones has already arrived on the market, but it seems that some more are also planned for the remaining of the year.
