Samsung has yet to launch a 5-inch high-end smartphone – in the form of Galaxy S IV – yet the already existing Galaxy Grand DUOS phablet could easily fulfill that role from a certain perspective, that's for sure.
Made official with a 5-inch WVGA touchscreen display and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor inside, paired with 1GB of RAM, the handset can easily make some believe that they are, in fact enjoying the benefits of a larger Galaxy S III. Both sport the same design, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities, a 2MP front camera for video calling, and Google’s Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform on top, although the Galaxy S III is a bit smaller, as can be seen in the second photo below.
However, Galaxy Grand DUOS does feel nicely in hand, and can look very appealing to many, especially with that 2,100 mAh battery inside and with its support for two SIM cards.
