South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics is reportedly gearing up for the release of a successor for the Optimus G flagship device before the end of this year, and a new photo that supposedly shows the device has been spotted online.
Coming from @evleaks, the photo shows the smartphone up close, confirming a very thin bezel on it. Rumor has it that this might actually be the next Nexus smartphone from Google, said to be developed by LG as well. Considering the fact that the latest such device, the Nexus 4, was built based on the Optimus G, it wouldn’t come as a surprise if the next Google phone were designed based on Optimus G2, that’s for sure.
Unfortunately, no official info on the upcoming smartphone has been provided as of now, so it remains to be seen whether the rumor will indeed pan out.
