Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on Galaxy Nexus, XOOM and Nexus S in Mid-July

While announcing the new flavor of Android, namely 4.1 Jelly Bean, Google also confirmed its availability for Ice Cream Sandwich-based devices. Starting with mid-July, the owners of Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S devices will get a taste of it, the same as those who own a Motorola XOOM tablet. The platform will be released along with the Android 4.1 source code, yet developers can already download and play with the updated SDK. The new OS flavor comes with a host of new features, including UI changes, Google now, updated camera app, improved notifications system, better performance, and more. Today, Google has unveiled to the world the next flavor of its mobile operating system, Android. Jelly Bean, the new of version, Android 4.1, comes with a new user interface, as well as with a set of new features meant to improve the overall user experience with the platform. Xeon Phi and AMD’s GCN Squeezing Nvidia’s TESLA

Intel’s Xeon Phi seemed like a doomed architecture back when Intel was attempting to compete with the likes of ATi and Nvidia. The company even scrapped the Larabee project, but all that work was not thrown away.
