Chinese mobile phone maker Huawei is getting ready for the release of a new Android device, one that has emerged over at the Bluetooth SIG with model number U9508 attached to it.
The handset will arrive on shelves with Bluetooth 3.0 packed inside, and is now said to be powered by Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. According to Blog of Mobile, the smartphone will land on shelves with a quad-core CPU inside (a Hisilicom K3V2 Hi3620 chip), and with a 4.5-inch HD screen (a 720 x 1280 Qimei LCD).
The phone should pack an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, complemented by a 1.3MP camera on the front. Support for W-CDMA/GSM frequencies will also be included in this device, along with a 2150mAh battery. No official info on the handset has been provided as of now, but rumor has it that it will be released internationally.
