MSI Slider S20 in Action

When MSI launched the famous GT70 gaming notebook, we were so enthusiastic about its performance and speed that nobody even thought about slim and light UltraBook with integrated graphics. To show that they’re a company that really masters mobile computing technology, MSI is now back in the true mobility game with the S20 Slider.

The new convertible UltraBook from MSI is much lighter than last year’s HP or Fujitsu convertible tablets. In fact, the new “thin and light” craze happening this year brought us some amazingly thin and powerful devices. MSI’s S20 Slider is powered by Intel Chief River platform. That’s the ultra-low voltage Ivy Bridge processor version. It likely comes with 4 GB or RAM and uses Intel’s HD4000 iGPU for 3D graphics acceleration. While HD4000 may be quite modest when 3D graphics performance is the main point, the S20 Slider is not really a gaming device.

It’s not that it doesn’t have a discrete graphics card (because it doesn’t), but the S20 doesn’t have a touchpad and the only apparent point input interface is the touchscreen. To better understand how the MSI S20 Slider looks, feels and behaves, we show you a nice video from computex.biz.
