Two new handsets have access to CyanogenMod 9 Nightly releases at the moment, namely AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S II and the LG Optimus LTE (AT&T Nitro HD).
Only a few days ago, AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S II got a taste of a leaked official Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for it, but without the features that a CM9 build has to offer.
Of course, there will be no TouchWiz interface to take advantage of when running CyanogenMod, but that should not be an issue for some users.
In addition to making nightlies available for Samsung’s flagship phone at AT&T, the team behind the software also announced that CyanogenMod 9 builds for the P930 (AT&T Nitro HD/Bell Canada Optimus LTE) were now live.
Before heading to the CyanogenMod site to download the software, users should take note of the fact that this is unofficial software that would void the warranty of their devices when installed.
