As the new Intel Sandy Bridge-E processors, and accompanying motherboards, near availability, G.Skill is preparing a memory kit that can keep up with them.
Called RipjawsZ, the RAM has a total of 16 GB capacity, being composed of four 4 GB modules.
They operate at 2,133 MHz (PC3-17000) and latencies of 9-11-9-28.
This much was mentioned in this report, but the kit does fall under an NDA so there is hardly any more info about it right now.
Fortunately, some pictures were included in the preview, showing black PCBs with blue heatsinks and the RipjawsZ brand written in big letters.
The official release, as well as one or more reviews, will appear in about a week or two, most likely.
For information about the processor series or the many motherboards that will support them, choose what seems to be more interesting from here.
