Nokia 800 Hands-On Photos Emerge
One of the Nokia 800 Windows Phone smartphones rumored to be unveiled tomorrow has just been the subject of a hands-on photo session.
Thanks to the guys over at TheNextWeb, we can safely assume that Nokia 800, also known as Nokia SeaRay or Sun, will be among the smartphones announced in less than 24 hours at the Nokia World event.
Although Nokia 800 press photos leaked last week, these are the first live pictures with the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango smartphone.
Obviously, the pictures do not reveal anything new regarding the phone's design, which strongly resembles the Nokia N9.
In fact, it looks like the Finnish company has given the Nokia 800 the same form factor and included the standard Windows Phone touch-sensitive controls at the base of the large curved touchscreen display.
Nokia is reportedly planning a major Windows Phone campaign in the United States, which is focused on an “Amazing Everyday” marketing theme.
However, the first Nokia Windows Phone Mango won't be available in North America until early 2012, rumors claim.
Either way, it looks like the European campaign has already started, since several teasers showing one of Nokia's Windows Phone smartphones are now aired on multiple UK TV channels.
According to Nokia, its first Windows Phone devices will be available in “select” markets by the end of the year, followed by the rest of the world beginning Q1 2012.
With only one day until Nokia World kicks off, a number of three Nokia devices are expected to be unveiled, Nokia 800 / SeaRay, Nokia Sabre and Nokia Ace.
While the first two devices have already leaked in spy shots, details about the Nokia Ace are scarce to say the least, but rumors has it that this will be a business device.
Stay tuned for more updates on the matter, as Nokia unveils its Windows Phone lineup tomorrow.
Nokia 900 Leaks Ahead of Official Announcement
It looks like Nokia 800 (SeaRay) and Nokia Sabre won't be the only smartphones introduced by the Finnish company tomorrow, at the Nokia World conference.
A new device dubbed Nokia 900 has just leaked courtesy to the folks over at TheNokiaBlog (via tipster), along with its partial specs sheet.
The Nokia 900 is a tier-one Windows Phone smartphone and will be delivered with the latest Mango platform.
Hardware-wise, Nokia 900 is equipped with a single-core 1.4GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, Bluetooth 4.0 capability, as well as a high capacity 1800 mAh battery.
At first glance, Nokia 900 seems to be the company's Windows Phone flagship smartphone, but there's no telling what other devices Nokia will announce in less than 24 hours.
Stay tuned for more details on the matter, as Nokia World conference kicks off.
